Committee on the Environment

The Committee on the Environment shall:

1. Maintain close liaison with organizations and agencies involved in environmental study and management.
2. Keep informed of the status of Virginia’s environment, noting particularly those problems and issues amenable to scientific research.
3. Cooperate with the Science Advisory Committee in advising and providing information to private and public environmental agencies and bodies.
