**2025 VAS Annual Meeting Registration**
Late registration is accepted, but after May 1st, registration fees will increase.
The 103nd Annual Meeting of the Virginia Academy of Science (VAS) will be held May 22, 2025 at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA. A council meeting will be held Friday May 23, 2025.
VAS Vice President, Craig Group, at the University of Virginia at rcg6p@virginia.edu serves as the Program Chair for the 2025 Annual Meeting.

Thursday, May 22
8-8:30 Registration w/ Coffee/Pastries – Chemistry Atrium
8-10:00 Check-in and Late Registration – Chemistry Atrium
8-9:00 VAS Poster Check-in and setup – Chemistry Atrium
8:30-12:30 Oral Presentations by academic sections and section business meetings – various rooms
12:45-1:00 – VAS 2025 Photo on Alumni Hall steps
1:00 – 2:00 Lunch – Alumni Hall
2:00-2:45 Negus Lecture/Installation of VAS Officers – Alumni Hall
3:00-4:00 Fellows meeting, Chemistry 306
3:00-4:00 More Oral Presentations by academic sections if needed: various rooms
3:00-5:00 Poster Sessions- Authors will be present to discuss posters and answer questions: Chemistry Atrium
5:00-6:00: Awards Ceremony (scholarships, VAS research awards, student awards) Chemistry 402
9:00-10:30: A night at McCormick Observatory
Friday, May 23
9 am -noon VAS Council Breakfast and Meeting – Alumni Hall Boardroom. (VAS council members only)
